Volunteers from the Foothill  Quilters' Guild will display
and sell raffle tickets for this year's Opportunity Quilt.
Picutred: last year's Opportunity Quilt, a replication of a
Prince's Plume (feather) quilt. The original antique quilt,
owned by Catherine Kypta, was made sometime between
1845 and 1865. Both red and green quilts and Prince's
Plume quilts were popular during this time.
Quilt coordinated by Lynn Cooper; hand applique and
machine piecing by eleven guild members; quilting by
Derek Lockwood.
