| IN MEMORY OF KATIE YOUNG Our Office Manager, Our Friend 1992 - 2008 |
| KATIE YOUNG, Office Manager for Twin Bridges Antique Productions & California Sports Card Shows, passed away peacefully at home on June 11, 2008. Katie joined our Staff when Promoters Carole and Don Berry moved to Redding in 1992. Katie had a welcome and refreshing presence at our shows and behind the scenes. Despite decades of battling cancer, Katie kept going, maintaining a positive attitude, bubbling with energy, approaching life with passion, always having faith. This time her body just couldn’t handle another bout with cancer. Right up until the end, she still called the shots: choosing to live the rest of her days at home with the aid of Hospice, in peace and in dignity. From a cozy easy chair in her home, Katie continued to take charge of her life, to relay her wishes to family & close friends, and to enjoy the company of her puppy, Stitcher. Private services were held. Should you wish to write to her family, they may be reached at: The Young Family, 10618 April Lane, Palo Cedro CA 96073. Donations may be made in memory of Katie Young to the American Cancer Society. We welcome your memories and fun stories about Katie for her Web Page. Fondly, Carole, Kris, Sharon, Kim & Staff Twin Bridges Antique Productions & California Sports Card Shows P.O. Box 992296, Redding, CA 96099 She will be missed! |
